The level of detail of a model is critical to balance for ultimate engagement. In this case, architectural details are subtle so it was important to interpret them accurately to truly experience the architecture. If you look closely at the building facade, you can see the very subtle setback of the glass behind the dimensional I-beam structure, which is more realistic and detailed compared to a simplified version where the I-beam detail at this scale might be scored on the surface and painted right on the glass layer. Landscaping with species-specific trees and plants, plus the tiny metal folding chairs further creates a feeling of being there and just adds life to a model.
